Hey dolls! So it that time of the month when I must choose my favourite products of October 2013, so lets get started shall we.
To start my ultimate favourite has to be Lush Dark Angles Cleanser, this month for some unknown reason I had quite a bad hormonal breakout and since then I have suffered from really oily skin which means I have had to totally re-think my skin care routine. Thanks to this product I now have manageable skin which doesn't have an oily sheen to it by the end of the day I find it helps to contribute towards keeping my skin matte.
My second favourite has to be my Loreal paris collection privee, Doutzen' nude lipstick this is such a beautiful nude shade which is perfect for everyday use. It keeps lips moisturised and looking fabulous and stays put for most of the day with the odd touch ups. This amazing shade is one of only a few in the range which I plan on buying some time in the near future so I will be posting a review on them very soon.
My third favourite is a bit odd but I love it, its Radox passion fruit splash body wash a bit odd I know but every morning when I wake up and go in the shower I find it gives me a kind of pick me up and puts me in a better mood. It smells delicious and makes me so hungry that's the only bad point, but on the plus side it always makes me eat healthy fruits because that's what it leaves me craving.
My fourth miscellaneous favourite this month is the 3 for 2 sale at boots, yet again another very odd favourite but oh well I swear I keep boots going just on stuff I buy alone, this is only a recent favourite for the month but I definitely got my months worth in the few days it was on in October though to now.
Last but not least in my October favourites is Rimmel Londons nail polish which I have been obsessing over as you will see below in my weekly nails I created a three tier ombre using there new space dust polishes which look amazing and stay extremely well I will post a review on them very soon so keep checking back.
That's everything guys so yet again thanks for reading dolls,
Katie Beth x

Inversion hair growth including pictures
Hey guys and dolls so I recently had may hair cut short because I had ruined my hair with heat styling and washing my hair everyday. So I was looking on youtube on how to grow my hair fast and ways to keep it healthy while doing so, and in between all of the usual youtube videos about using no heat etc I found this method which claims to grow hair by 1 inch in a week.
In order to do this you will need:
4 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Small bowl
Towel
Method:
1. Measure out 4 tablespoons of olive oil into the small bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds.
2. Then leave it to for 2 minutes roughly to let it cool down slightly.
3.Once it has cooled down slightly put the towel around your shoulders as this can get quite messy
4. Start to massage the olive oil into the roots of your hair and also through the lengths of your hair.
5. Once your whole head is covered, tip your hair upside down and leave it in this position for 4 minutes, if at any time your start to feel light headed or dizzy etc stop immediately.
These steps must me repeated over 7 consecutive days and supposedly it helps the blood flow to the scalp therefore helping with hair growth.
Here is a picture of my hair after being cut on the 02/09/2013:
( please excuse how I look with no make-up on)
From the picture above it is very clear that my hair has grown by quite a lot when measured my hair has grow one inch and a half. Eeeeek. I have to be honest I didn't actually think I would work so well. I highly recommend this hair growth method, I will re do this every month to help aid my hair growth.
If any of you have tried this before then please comment below and let me know if it worked for you.

How to do a fishtail braid
Hey dolls today I thought I would post about how to do a fish tail braid every time I do this hair style on myself I have a lot of comment and people asking how I did it. So I thought I would show you how to do.
1. Start by brushing all of the knots and tangles out of your hair.
2. Split your hair into two sections
3. Then take a small piece of hair from under the left section of hair
By the end it should look like this ^^
I hope this step by step guide helped

Provoke touch of silver twice a week brightening shampoo
Hey dolls sorry I haven't posted recently I ha no idea what to blog about for a while, until now. I recently to ombré my hair with bleached I love the effect it gave my hair however it left my hair will yellow and orange tones, I desperately wanted blonde ends so I decided to try out a purple shampoo which I had seen advertised recently.
The consistency of the shampoo is really runny and quite messy. It lathers really well though to say it is not a creamy consistency. I left this shampoo in my hair for five minutes as advised on the packaging and then washed it out with warm water and then followed with my usual hair routine.
Before:
All in all I am quite impressed with my first impressions and it left my hair looking more blonde instead of being yellow. I will continue to use this product and to see if I notice any more difference. Although I would advise using a good conditioner or hair mask because it did leave my ends feeling dry.
If you have tried this product please let me know what you thought,

L'oreal Paris Nude Magique CC Cream
Hey dolls I thouht today I would Review for you the L'oreal Paris Nude Magique CC Cream. This is a foundation which claims to neutralise redness for a perfect nude look. I have always been a fan of BB creams so I thought I would purchase this CC cream because I suffer from redness around my nose and cheek's. I was so excited about this product and I was let down so badly by it. The first thing I noticed about it was the colour which is green I found intriguing. this is because it has smart pigment capsules which then change colour when rubbed into the skin.
Above - The CC Cream Before Rubbed into the skin
I purchased this foundation over a month ago and have since been trying to find a way to make it work for me, but I just can't find a way to make it work. For one the colour of it once rubbed into the skin is really bad it's almost orange which isn't a very unflattering natural skin colour.
About - The CC cream rubbed into the back of my hand to see the colour difference.
This foundation doesn't come in any other skin shade's which make's it even worse. I don't normally like to complain about a product but this is the one product I can't seem to understand. Why would they only make this product in one colour which is not even a fairly natural skin tone. It would look beautiful on a very tanned skin tone. But unfortunately I am very pale and therefore will be stickin to my trust worthy Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream.
Have you used this product and loved it?

Loreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
Hey guys I recently went to visit my friend after a trip to town where I bought Loads of useless stuff except the L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil which I bought after using up all of my Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment. Although I loved this oil and it worked miracles on my hair I wanted to find something as good but for less money because it isn't a cheap product to buy. So when I went to visit my best friend Dani I realised her hair was wrecked in the past three months she has stripped her hair, bleached it twice, dyed it black then stripped it twice again and dyed it red, it's safe to say her hair was ruined. This was the perfect way to put this new product to the test.
Above - Before using L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
The first thing we decided to do with Dani's hair was brush it which took forever and I couldn't help but notice load's of her hair was snapping at the end's and falling out. I then put 10-15 pumps of L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil in a microwavable container and popped it in the microwave for 20 second's and applied it liberally all over her hair paying special attention to her end's. After leaving it on for 15 minutes we decided to wash it out of her hair if you decided to do this make sure you shampoo twice to be sure all of the oil has been washed out. We then applied a conditioner and left it on her hair for 3 minutes before washing it out. I then applied one pump of L'oreal to her ends and left her hair to air dry.
Above - After using L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
I think its safe to say this oil work's miracle's even I was in shock at how well it has worked. I expected it to work to a certain degree and maybe help it untangle and prevent some of the frizz but it did so much more than that it left Dani's hair soft, manageable, healthier and it even helped to get rid of some of the split end's.
Have you use this product? Let me know what you thought.

St.Moriz Fake Tan Mousse
Hey dolls, so yesterday was a huge step for me when it comes to all things beauty related because I fake tanned for the first time EVER. It was actually quite scary I know I probably sound pathetic but I couldn't bare the though of turning out orange, that would have been the worst thing to have possibly gone wrong. Not to mentioned I had been reading other blogs about how to apply fake tan and one said if you turn out orange then you have used a cheap fake tan, which made me panic even more as I had already put my tan on and it only cost me £2.99!
I decided to use St.Moriz to get rid of my fake tan virginity because for one it's cheap and if i decided I am not a fan of fake tan then I could give it away without thinking what a waste of money; Two I had heard fabulous reviews about it. So yesterday I exfoliated with my Soap & Glory Flake Away because if not the mousse would stick to my dry patches and then I would look like a brown version of Mr.Blobby.
Left: Before tanning Right:After tanning
I don't know about you but I was quite impressed with the result after using St.Moriz fake tan mousse, I never tan I always burn and I am very impressed with how natural this tan looks. I will defiantly be using fake tan more often now the only down side is the smell but for the result's I got I am sure I can find a way to cover it up. If you have ever used this product please comment below and tell about your experience using it.

Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask
Hey dolls, sorry I haven't blogged in a few day's Hopefully I can get back into the routine of reviewing daily. Anyway I though I would review for you the Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask which Tom bought for me bless him after he noticed I pointed it out on our last visit to Lush. Also before I jump into the review Lush have a amazing recycling scheme if you go in to your local Lush store with 5 empty black pot's they will give you a FREE FACE MASK!
The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell it is HEAVENLY, it is very sweet and made my mouth water strait away. The face mask claims to cleanse, soften and moisturise dry skin I have combination skin so I though this product may be perfect for my dry patches. I did find it very messy to apply because its has a lumpy consistency because this product is made of banana's,oatmeal, ground almonds and kaolin. So I followed the instructions as directed on the packaging and then washed it of with warm water.
I noticed my skin was a lot more smooth and soft to touch however I didn't feel that it didn't work any miracles for my dry patches and has actually made my face a lot more shiny on my oily t-zone and I understand this product isn't aimed at combination skin and so that part I wasn't to bothered by because I didn't buy it to help with that.
All in all I will be using up all of this product because I hate waste however I will not be re purchasing it any time soon which really is a shame, because I have such an obsession with Lush and there products. This does not mean it will not be perfect from someone else skin in any way. If you have tried this product please comment below and tell me about your experience.

Johnsons Eye Make-up Remover
I have used up 3 bottles of this eye make-up remover in the past 6 months and decided I had to blog about it. This is my go to eye make-up remover it is gentle and can be used on all skin types. I have tried this product on so make different eye make-up brands and products and it never failed to remove it perfectly. The main reason I purchased this is because it reminded me of Lancôme bi-facial make-up remover because it is divided into two different part of oil and make-up remover and at a fraction of the price. It very important to remember to shake this product well in order to ensure that it is full mixed together.
I found that this product left me eye area well moisturised and didn't leave it sore which I find I get when using make-up removers it also left my eyelashes in amazing condition and and I have noticed since using it my lashes have grown longer and are thicker.
All in all I don't plan on giving up this eye-make up remover any time soon and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment
I decided to buy this hair treatment because I was amazed that Lee Stafford had the guts to promise hair growth, which is a big claim to make and then fail on it. So I used up the full container of product over two months. My hair is already very long just below my chest but it is not in the best condition due to styling, heat damage and dying my hair.I want my hair to grow just a tiny bit more because my hair seems to have reached a point and stopped growing.
The first thing that stood out to me was the packaging its so unique and girlie I love the bar code style but when you open the packaging the first thing you notice is the smell, I personally love the smell however I know a few people who find it a bit sickly.
After a full two months of using this product I notice a small amount of hair growth but I don't know if this is due to just natural growth. However This product made my hair unbelievably soft and actually mended alot of my split ends and really was a health boost to my hair.
Overall this product worked wonders on my hair for its condition but didn't really live up to its name of improving hair growth.

Lush Dark Angels Fresh Facial Cleanser
Hey dolls, I have recently paid a visit to my local Lush store which I LOVE the staff there are so friendly. While there I decided to purchase a new cleanser which I didn't even need and when I left the store realised I had bought the total opposite of what I actually went in for. Dark Angels is my new love, although do be warned it it black and can be very messy, I would suggest using it in the shower.
The ingredients in this product are rhassoul mud, charcoal and black sugar all mixed together to create a exfoliating cleanser. I found this product perfect for my combination skin which is oily in my t zone but very dry everywhere else, it exfoliated all the dead skin cells on my dry flaky parts of my face and then reduced the amount oil in my t zone. All in all this product is amazing for me and my skin and I would strongly recommended it to anyone who has combination skin. If you have tried this product please comment below and tell be about your experience.

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer
Hey dolls, today I discovered this miracle product! for anyone out there who may suffer from under eye circles this will be your holy grail, I kid you not. First off just to put it out there I was not paid or sent this product to review I purchased it with my own hard earn’t monies.
The great thing I love about this concealer is that it is so compact you would have no idea how much product is actually in it. First of there is the actual concealer which is split into two different sections, one is for under eyes and other other for face concealing redness, blemishes and discoloration.
The under eye concealer is the main part of this product I want to concentrate on because I find that my under eye area personally can become very creased and look awful when I try to put any form of make-up on. However this product is totally different it leaves them looking very natural and as though I have had a good nights rest, and to top it of I don’t have to buy a setting powder because it also comes with this product, its like a tardis!
I also tried the face concealer I can not comment on how well it covers spots personally because I very rarely get any active breakouts, however I did get my friend to try it out because she suffers from bad acne scarring, blemishes and active breakouts and she was so astounded by the results she also went out to buy it herself.
All round this product is a miracle, I would highly recommend it to anyone out there who is a concealerholic. This product is available in most Boots store and online for £10 however I did buy mine when boots had a sale on and i got mine for £7 so keep an eye out for another great deal.
